Bachfest Malaysia connects the leadership and expertise of Malaysia’s foremost Bach specialist, Dr. David Chin, with a new generation of sensational baroque musicians from around the region. Their concerts have been praised as “sublime” and “riveting with clarion beauty”, presenting the best of Bach’s compositions through the strength and competence of Southeast Asia’s musicians. For their endeavors, Bachfest Malaysia has been invited in 2020 to represent Southeast Asia at the world’s most prestigious Bach festival, Leipzig Bachfest, where they will perform Bach’s works at the site of it’s conception, St. Thomas Church. As Bachfest Malaysia grows into the region’s leading baroque ensemble, join me in celebrating their growth and the important work they do by attending this concert and making a charitable donation. My goal for the night is $10,000. This humble amount will fund 3 of Bachfest Malaysia’s artists to Leipzig.
